KYOTO the Beautiful – part 2

I’m back to my busy time spent at Kyoto ๐Ÿ™‚ Last time I was talking about Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the love stone (who doesn’t like me apparently), here’s the rest of the story! On my check list, Arashiyama with the bamboo groove was my next destination. After a long walk to the station, some window shopping (selfie stick mostly I must confess and sweets) we jumped on the train to Arashiyama ( litteraly jumed in because we were late). Here’s what it looks like (but try imagining it without anyone) KYOTO61It’s very beautiful and peacefull (without anyone I guess), it’s definitly a place to go. But like for all the places in the city you should go there first thing in the morning to avoid all the tourists.

It wasn’t time to eat yet (because we had a big breakfast) so we wandered around Arashiyma and the bridge. It has been raining for a few days for the sakuras were already loosing their flowers :'( so sad! But if you want to try a “sakura shower” it’s the right time! We also found the Monkey Park Iwatayama ๐Ÿ™‚ The monkeys were so cute I wish I could bring one with me, it could have played withmy cat back home (become as fat as my cat too). It the same kind of monkeys you can see in onsen, if I ‘m not wrong, so maybe in the future we will see each other again in an onsen!

It was the big event of the day and we went back to our hotel after a stop at Dunkin Donuts ๐Ÿ™‚ The evening I had to leave for Nara for my next adventures before coming back again in Kyoto (wich was filled with shopping, sushi, purikura, melon pan…)

After this stay it’s hard to say what was my number 1 place in Kyoto, I guess I would have to say either Arashiyama or Gion <3

What is your favorite place in Kyoto ?

Rendez-vous sur Hellocoton !
